Long-range drones operated by the Special Operations Centre Alpha of the Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) have struck a third oil rig owned by Russian energy giant Lukoil in the Caspian Sea in recent weeks.

Details: The strike targeted an oil rig at the Rakushechnoye field (named after Valery Graifer).
Footage from a drone's onboard camera shows a successful hit near the rig's gas turbine unit.
Background: SSU drones had already struck ice-resistant oil rigs at the Filanovsky and Korchagin fields in the Caspian Sea, which led to the suspension of production operations at those sites.
